is a PvP card-battler with a focus on very short action-packed battles. The goal was to get players to hop in games, drop a bunch of cards and full send it down the middle. I worked on various parts of the game with a focus on early environment ideation and characters.

We explored a variety of environments from safer traditional fantasy outings like forests and dungeons to rooftops and ship battles. Some of the early sketches also had ideas for 2v2 battles which had more real-time strategy elements like map control and coordinated pushes through asymmetrical designs.

The shepherd is our swarm unit, we wanted something different and a little more fun than the typical skeleton hordes. The demonic sheep may look cute but after encountering them in battle you won’t feel bad about dispatching them.
